Overview

The Client Service Assistant assists the Client Services Representative and Director on completing daily tasks and reports.

Responsibilities

Primary Job Functions

 

  • Research, document and follow-up with proper departments based client requests on a daily basis.
  • Update our collection system with client requests.
  • Generate and submit daily/weekly/monthly reports for clients.
  • Complete and submits verification of debt (VOD) requests to the clients.
  • On a regular basis, mails received VOD requests from the client to the individual borrower’s, notates the borrower’s account and sends timed callbacks to the collector.
  • Prioritize and escalate important issues.
  • Make sure proper client guidelines are being followed.

Secondary Job Functions

 

  1. Other special projects and duties as assigned
  2. Expected to exercise sound, independent judgment and to seek out appropriate direction and information as needed.

Qualifications

  1. EDUCATION

 

MUST HAVE:

  • High School diploma or equivalent

 

PREFERRED:

  • Bachelor’s degree

 

  1. EXPERIENCE

 

MUST HAVE:

  • 1 – 2 years of relevant experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, and Powerpoint
  • Proven verbal and written communication skills

 

PREFERRED:

  • 1 – 2 Years of experience in client services.

 

  1. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES:

 

MUST HAVE:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills .
  • Ability to prioritize daily tasks.
  • Ability to comprehend and follow written and verbal communication instructions.
  • Detail oriented with the ability to multi-task.
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to manage multiple priorities and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to maintain confidential information.
  • Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision while under pressure.
  • Must be able to portray a professional manner, and perform duties at a professional level with internal and external clients and vendors.

 

PREFERRED:

  • Precious knowledge in client services.

  • Occasionally required to stand or walk and life and/or move up to 25 pounds

  • Employee works in an office environment. Employee sits at a desk during regularly scheduled work hours; answers and makes telephone calls using a standard telephone; types on a standard keyboard; reads and comprehends information from a computer terminal and/or written resources.
